1. Part of the whole
All the rules of the Rules of Conduct apply
2. Respect Everyone of Every Pack
In-game rivalries and drama are allowed, but don't forget that there are actual human beings with feelings behind these screens.
3. Graphic Fight & Sexual Scenes
Fights and violence are allowed and so is romance, but don't forget to keep everything PG-13. If it reminds you of a gory horror movie or Fifty Shades of Grey, then it's most definitely not allowed.
4. Literacy
It is generally preferred that one has good to decent literacy. In roleplaying terms, semi-literate to literate is what is preferred for WoI to make it easier for others to read.
Please refrain from using text talk (tlkng leik dis) and so forth. It makes it difficult to read the post.
5. Cursing
Some minor cursing is okay, such as hell or damn, but please refrain from using the very profane words. They will be automatically censored out, and if you do use them and there is a lot of censoring in your post, you will first receive a warning and then a temporary ban from posting.
6. Mary/Gary Sues
Please, just avoid them.
7. Bumping
You may bump your own threads once every 20 hours. To bump, you must use the bump button at the bottom of your thread. If that button is not showing up, you are not allowed to bump that particular thread. Making a post to bump a thread is not allowed.
8. No god-modding
You are only allowed to play your character. You are not allowed to decide on the actions of any other player's character. You are also forbidden to kill off any player's character, unless that player agrees.
Neither are you allowed to create superior or invincible characters, unless the owner of the thread specifically allows that kind of character.
5. Distinguish between in-character and out-of-character
Whenever you post in an RP, make sure everyone knows what parts of your post are in-character (IC) and which are out-of-character (OOC). Examples how to do this is by putting OOC speech in brackets or parentheses.
This also includes that what happens between the characters stays between the characters. Just because your characters don't like each other does not give you the right to flame or attack the player of that character.
5a. Know where to post IC and OOC threads
Most (if not all) the roleplay boards on WoI require that OOC chat goes in one board while IC chat goes in another. Suggestion: Read the rules of the board before posting.
6. Keep on topic
If you are talking OOC, it has to have to do with the RP. If you want to chat, go to the Community Center. Don't spam up an RP; others might want to play and not read your chattering.
7. Joining
Before joining the roleplay fully and posting in one of the scenes, you must first apply to join one of the 4 great packs (information about each found on home page) by submitting an application in the Pack Selection board. Once your application is accepted and you are put in a pack, then you may start posting.
7a. Changing Packs
If you are already part of a pack and wish to switch packs or are a lone wolf and want to join a pack, fill out the appropriate application (found in the Pack Selection board) and submit it with the subject "Pack Change Request" or something similar. Then, wait until your application has been accepted and you've been assigned to your new pack.
7b. Becoming a Lone Wolf
If you wish to become a lone wolf, then it is a similar process to applying to become a pack member/changing your pack.
Fill out the Pack Application Form, but leave all the spaces for the pack information blank and put "Lone Wolf" in the section where it says "Pack"
