1. Part of the whole
All the rules of the Rules of Conduct apply
2. General rules
No off-topic conversations. Talking about the art presented in the thread is fine, but keep the general chatter in the Community Center.
3. Art theft and plagiarism
Any art you present in the Gallery and its subsections must be made by you.
Do not claim someone else's art as made by you whether it is on its original form or modified.
You are allowed to use references and resources that give permission for it. That means you cannot use material whose use is denied or that denies derivative works, or copyrighted material (which includes, but is not limited to, pictures of movies and games). If you get permission from the original artist or copyright holder to use their normally off-limits art then you have permission to post. You will have to be able to provide that permission on demand.
If you cannot find a resource's copyright or usage permission information, do not use that resource.
If you want to use a piece of art made by another Wolves of Iria user and they have not stated how their art can or cannot be used, PM them to ask for their permission BEFORE using their art. If they say you cannot use the art, respect that and don't use it.
Even if your resource doesn't require credit, give it, post a link to it and tell you used it as a resource. If you don't post a link to your resources it can be assumed the art piece is made entirely by you and once it turns out you have used material made by others it can be considered art theft.
It is recommended that everyone familiarize themselves with the Creative Commons licenses
4. Gallery main section
The top level Gallery is for art galleries, general art discussions and threads looking for or offering critique. The gallery threads are allowed to offer freebies as long as they are not commissioned.
Threads that do not belong in the main section of the Gallery: threads that take commissions, threads that give out commissions, threads that sell or buy art, art auctions, art competitions, art raffles, adoptables threads, threads that offer or require any kind of payment for art or art related things.
You are not allowed to bump your topics for the sake of bumping in the main section of the Gallery. You are, however, allowed to announce new material being added to the gallery once per day.
5. Art contests
A definite ending time for the contest must be posted. "When I find a suitable picture" is not a definite ending time for a contest. When announcing the ending time post the date and time and time zone when the contest ends or announce the ending time as a span of time starting from the time the thread's starting post is posted (e.g. two weeks from now).
If there are prizes for the contest the prizes need to be announced before the competition begins and they cannot be changed if someone has posted an entry to the contest. No real money or items are allowed to be offered as prizes.
You are allowed to extend your contests up to three times.
The overall length of a contest with or without extensions cannot be longer than six months from the posting time of the starting post.
The judging has to be done within a month of the contest's ending time.
5a. Art raffles
Art raffles are threads that give away art by random chance. The tickets available in a raffle may be limited or unlimited in number. Every ticket must have the same price and the same chance of winning. A raffle has to include an ending time (date, time and time zone, or a span of time e.g. “three days from now”) no longer than six month after the raffle has been started that determines when tickets can no longer be bought. Note that real items and money may not be used to purchase raffle tickets.
6. Living Art
All adoptables and related threads (for example adoptable raffles, auctions and competitions etc.) go in this area.
You may bump your own threads once every 20 hours. To bump, you must use the bump button at the bottom of your thread. If that button is not showing up, you are not allowed to bump that particular thread. Making a post to bump a thread is not allowed.
Same rules apply to adoptables auctions, raffles and contests that apply to any other Gallery auctions, raffles and contests
